Get to Know Jenn

Growing up in San Diego Ca, I spent many days watching my grandpa fixing my grandmas hair. Colors, cuts, perms and roller sets. Aquanet permeating the house was standard for the weekend. He wasn’t a licensed cosmetologist but he learned it all just for her. He even tried to do my hair a few times, but a few bad perms and an eyebrow scar later he was taking me to the local salon for all my hair needs. But he always allowed to me be adventurous and express myself through my hair. Through this my interest in hair dressing was born.
In 1998 I attended the local beauty college where I both learned the foundations of this business and made connections that would last me a lifetime. But that was 20 years ago, long before smart phones and social media. The constant changes in this business mixed with all the new technology had made for a very different career than the one when I got my license, but my commitment to continuing education on every front has allowed to me to fully embrace the social media aspects of the business while offering my clients a combination of both traditional and contemporary styling options.
I am always striving to improve the experience for all of my guests. From new services to top quality, eco-friendly products I want to make them feel at home, making each visit individual to every guest. It’s their time to unwind, enjoy some peace, or chat about what’s going on in their lives. I take my time to ensure that not only are we on the same page with their hair goals for their first and all future visits, but I do my best to keep my clients relaxed and ease their anxiety. I believe everyone should have a stylist with whom they feel safe and comfortable to be themselves and my chair is open to every individual needing that in their lives. Each guest holds a special place in my heart and I love to share in their families and their lives, fostering a true relationship that can grow over the years.
